NAEYC members are organized in a vibrant network of local, state, and regional Affiliate Groups. These Affiliate Groups are local, state, and regional early childhood associations that share NAEYC goals in working behalf of young children and the early childhood profession. Membership in the affiliate structure is automatically included in all membership packages.
NAEYC members receive a wide array of benefits, all designed to support the important work of early childhood professionals. Different membership options—Comprehensive, Regular, or Student—provide tailored benefits to support early childhood professionals at different levels.
NAEYC members can choose between receiving six issues of the peer-reviewed Young Children journal or five issues of Teaching Young Children/Preschool (available in English or Spanish) and a Spotlight book, which offers practitioner-oriented articles and study guides. Members also receive reduced fees at NAEYC-sponsored conferences, a 20% discount on all products carried in the NAEYC catalog, discounted subscription rates on magazines such as Highlights High Five, Education Week, and Exchange Magazine. In joining NAEYC, members have an influential voice in shaping public policies affecting early childhood education and many other benefits.
